UpliftingJan 14, 2011
By Ren I borrowed this book from my sister-in-law. I have several friends who are breast cancer surviors. As a whole we are pretty young chicks. I read this book for them to see what they have gone through. I was surprised that I felt uplifted with my own tragedy in life which is not cancer by the way. I feel the author gives valuable spiritual tid-bits for all who are dealing with "cancers" so to speak. Each tradegy brings healing and dealing with a tradegy can come in the same form. I loved how this book takes each step of her walk and how she stayed positive and even humorous. She gave me strength to deal with my own tradegy which is still going on. I can't wait for healing to come. For now I will continue to read great inspirational and spiritual books like this one to help keep me on the right path to healing. I will get this book and her next for anyone who is diagnosed with cancer or going through a tradegy in life.

Great StoryFeb 15, 2004
My sister-in-law got this book for me right after I was diagnosed with breast cancer. It really helped me have insight into what would happen, how to take care of myself, what to expect. Her story helped me prepare for my own journey. This is a wonderful survivor story.

sappyFeb 24, 2004
While I admire the author's courage in dealing with breast cancer (as I do many cancer victims), I found the text to be a "sappy" expository that spent more time attempting to boost her husband's ego, than it did giving women practical advice in dealing with this dreaded disease.
