Amazing CookbookAug 30, 2010
By Janet Morris My family actually has two older copies of this cookbook, and it is absolutely incredible. The stories and illustrations make it feel more like a person heirloom being passed from generation to generation. And the recipes make you feel that comforting down home sentiment that is associated with all things southern. I can't imagine growing up without this cookbook in my house, and I would recommend any family (as well as non-families) get a copy of this book. You will not be sorry.

I just love this cookbook. It is sophisticated southern. I am constantly picking it up to use for various get togethers. Every recipe has been a hit.
