"This is History!" is the Schools History Project's Key Stage 3 scheme of work for National Curriculum history. Through a combination of in-depth and overview units, it offers a varied, relevant and challenging scheme of work for the whole Key Stage 3 history programme of study. "The Impact of Empire" is an overview study of the British Empire and British colonialism. Each unit is a self-contained investigation into different aspects of the British Empire. This "Teacher's Resource Book" supports the users of the Pupil Book with: introductory material covering issues of course planning, the Key Stage 3 Strategy, differentiation and assessment; detailed notes on how to get the most out of each Pupil's Book activity; and, photocopiable worksheets supporting each of the main tasks in the Pupil's Book.
