If you read aloud to your class, you must read this book! This books brings to our attention the during reading strategies that we do automatically and demonstrates how to teach them to our students. Appropriate for any grade level.

This is a very good book. I wanted to help my son understand better what he is reading. As a parent and not a teacher, I would use this book by reading it first and then distilling the information to use with my son. Other books may provide ready-to-use texts, however this one requires reading it first.
