Contained on this "Investigating Geography: A Teacher's Resource CD-ROM" is additional material that teachers need to help pupils learn more effectively. There are extension and support resources including: enquiries and decision-making activities; thinking skills activities; and, ICT and literacy activities, including web enquiries. There are also other essential tools provided: advice to help teachers plan more effectively; high quality outline maps of all scales, featuring colour when appropriate; high quality digital copies of some of the photographs featured in the "Investigating Geography" pupils' texts which can be used as print out or with a data projector. The CD-ROM format offers distinct advantages: Teachers can adjust activities to suit their pupils needs; It negates the need for endless photocopying by allowing some activities to be transferred directly onto the school network.
