Bought this book for our first grandchild who is going to be a boy
It will be read to him by our younger son who is his father.
Excellent story that can grow with little Will and be read over and over again I'm sure.

As an educator in Clarksville I have had the pleasure in meeting Mr. Shoulders several times. I am very excited about this one and am already awaiting any new creations to come. This is such a wonderfully written book that can be shared with the whole family. With the beautiful pictures and surprise ending it will melt your heart!

"Big Mama"
As a teacher and a parent, this book touched me in a way that was very special. I met Michael Shoulders at a Title I conference. I immediately fell in love with his book. If only there were more families in the world that would teach their children the kind of love of reading that the family in this book demonstrates. Every member of the bear family shares wonderful and exciting stories with the new baby. The baby learns so much about books and love!

Written by Michael Shoulders, who has long spread the word to schools and conferences that "reading is magic", Say Daddy! is a children's picturebook about a close-knit bear family who loves to read. When a new baby bear joins the family, Mother shares a book about love, while Brother reads a tale about friendship. Aunt and Uncle read about joyful adventures, and Daddy reads a book about promises and dreams. Daddy bear tries to get the little bear to say 'Daddy' for his first word, but whose name will the baby say first? The kindly color illustrations add warmth and heart to this lovable, literacy-promoting picturebook. Highly recommended.
