Tough Times ReviewFeb 07, 2010 I have not finished the book yet, but found it with some great counsel for me personally as I believe it would affect most of the readers. There are some things with which I am not really impressed, but that's from my perspective. I'm certain other readers would disagree with my assessment. Worth the price.

Great for a self attitude adjustment!Jan 07, 2010 My disclaimer: As with any opinion, it is only my opinion and these reviews will vary depending on who reads the book and what the reader is looking for. I look for ways to improve businesses, my skills, and my life. At points where life has kicked me in the teeth, the words in this book have helped me think and move forward. Life is not easy for most, but the tough will survive!
On a 1 to 5 scale, 5 being the best:
Readability: 5 I read this book in a few hours. Very easy to read and understand. It won't stress your brain. Very interesting.
Information and new ideas: 5 I've read a number of self help books and most didn't do anything for me. I think that the material in this book relates better to our lives. Again, just my opinion.
Applicable Ideas: 5 I read this book over 15 years ago, but with life's speed bumps, I come back to it again and again. And, you don't have to be religious to understand the ideas and be able to innovate them into your life. Very good stuff!
Value: 5 It's been worth every penny.
I give it a 5 overall, but I would go higher if I could. Great reading and excellent applicable ideas.
Thank you Reverend Schuler

InformativeNov 10, 2008 This book has a lot of interesting information based on actual events. However, the book is the size of a Readers Digest which was disappointing. The size of the book was not indicated in the description and in addition the reduced size of the lettering made it difficult to read. But the content was informative.

It's a Good Start!May 07, 2007 If you're facing a tough challenge in your life, this is a good way to start down the road to facing it. It doesn't have all the answers, but it makes some good points along the way. It also let's you know that you're not the only one facing difficult times.
