WW II History Comes Alive in Fast Paced NovelApr 13, 2006
By Jamie Dodson
"Jamie Dodson"
Annie Laura Smith writes a compelling tale exploring the role of young people in the French Resistance during WW II. In August of 1944, as the allies approached Paris, Hitler ordered his generals to burn to it to the ground. A handful of Resistance fighters assist in a daring plan to save the City of Light. Fast passed and extremely accurate, the story sucks you in and holds you to the conclusion. Annie Laura Smith is a talented author who makes history come alive for young readers. I recommend her historical fiction for ages 11 and up or younger advanced readers.
Cheers!
